CHILDREN

Your children are a gift from God – and at Dallas Bible, we want to walk alongside you to ensure you have the care and support needed to raise children who know, love, and enjoy serving God.

Every Sunday, our children’s ministry provides a safe and positive environment where Biblical truth can be absorbed and life-long relationships formed.

Preschool (Birth-PreK)

Children absorb everything and know when they're loved, so we're passionate about starting early to communicate God's perfect love and grace He's made available to all.  Our curriculum, Orange, offers creative, engaging lessons aimed at teaching preschoolers that "God Made Me," "God Loves Me," and "Jesus Wants to Be My Friend Forever."

When we have Sunday morning Preschool Programming available:
Check-In/Check-Out

Our goal is to provide a caring, safe, and organized church home for children and their parents. Before entering the DBC Kids hallway, you will be asked to fill out a visitor card, a name tag, and a guardian tag. This is where you provide us with information that is vital to your child’s care (such as allergies, special needs, etc.). This takes only a few minutes and can be done at the first time visitor check-in kiosk. When picking up children after worship, parents will need to show their guardian tag to complete the check-out process.

Elementary (K–5th)

We want to partner with you as you try to raise children that will love Jesus and enjoy following Him for a lifetime. So while you're always encouraged to bring your children with you as you worship, we provide a safe and age appropriate worship experience for kids.

Kids Life
Sundays @ 9:00am and 10:45am

Kids Life is a large group, dynamic, Bible-learning environment that integrates sound teaching with live storytelling, music and creativity, all in a relational setting. Our curriculum, Orange, invites parents to be engaged in the spiritual development of of their kids, but we don't expect you to do it alone. We believe that 2 combined influences make a greater impact than just 2 individual influences so the church (Yellow = light) works with the parents at home (red = love) to create .

Interested in serving in the kids program?

We believe that everyone is given unique spiritual gifts and abilities to help strengthen the church and deepen our relationship with God. There are many ways to invest relationally and help the kids at Dallas Bible learn to love all and help all follow Jesus. No service is too great or too small as we equip our bothers and sisters in Christ to continue the faith.

Available Service Roles:

Service Coordinator Are you gifted in administrative areas or love to help coordinate moving parts? This could be an ideal place for you! A service coordinator helps with ensuring that Sunday morning runs smoothly! They will check in with teachers and help make sure that each group has what they need and is following on schedule!
Small Group Leader Connecting and creating a relationship with kids helps show them the relational character of Jesus. Small group leader's main role is to cultivate a relationship with the kids through consistent attendance and fun! The main lesson will be taught by the Large Group Leader, but the small group leader will help the kids engage in the lesson and will walk through prayer requests, follow up questions and activities that supplement the story. Being a small group leader is a unique opportunity to share the gospel and help shepherd young brothers and sisters in Christ.
Large Group Leader Large group leaders get the exciting task of bringing scripture to life and sharing it with the next generation! Engage with kids as you recount stories of God's faithfulness and mercy to us all. We want to point them to the cross each week and show them that each story that we have shows his loving promise of sending Jesus. God gave us his word becase he wants to speak to us. By sharing His stories we can point them to the cross each week.
Greeter/Check In The first impression a student has really sets the tone, and we are looking for positive and welcoming volunteers to help check in and greet our students each week as they come in to be filled by worship.
Activity Leader In addition to songs, bible stories and crafts, the kids will also participate in high energy activities that help with gross motor skills and cooperation! This volunteer role would be wonderful for someone who loves to lead or coach and will be able to oversee a high energy space while still connecting with kids.
Music Leader Kids love to move and sing so we incorporate singing in our large group time to get them prepared to hear the word and learn truths about God. The Music leader gets to be the guide to kids while worshiping, dancing and doing motions to songs. We have a huge library of songs and are excited for you to bring them to life!
Substitute Arent sure you have the capacity in your schedule or arent sure what role you want? We understand that life happens so some volunteers arent able to come. We would love to have some substitues that we can plug in so each child has an amazing experience

Family Sundays (K–12th)

Family Sundays are an opportunity for all of us to come together throughout the year as a community of believers, obeying our biblical mandate to meet as a church body. On these designated Sundays parents are encouraged to have their elementary-aged children and older join them in their ABF classes, in the worship service and in a volunteer position that morning. Children can volunteer with their parents in their regularly scheduled service ministry or visit the Next Steps Desk for kid-appropriate opportunities.
