Worship at DBC
The Worship Service
We meet together on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. for corporate worship, anticipating the presence of God! Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to honor Him and celebrate Him by lifting up His name in song, reading His Word, speaking to Him through prayer, and preaching His Word faithfully.
| SUNDAY | 10:15 A.M. |
Our worship service is purposely "blended" in style because the backgrounds and perspectives of God's people are "blended." We use traditional styles as well as contemporary arrangements and methods, but in everything, our goal is to be God-centered worshipers in tune with the biblical model.
About 10:30 a.m., just before the message, children aged Kindergarten through 6th grade are dismissed to attend Kid's LIFE. Kid's LIFE is a dynamic Bible-learning environment for kids. The program integrates live Bible dramas, small group activities and crafts in a warm, friendly environment.
On the last Sunday of every month, we remember the death and resurrection of Jesus through The Lord's Supper. The Lord's Supper (Communion) is a tradition started by the Lord Himself and is meant to be celebrated only by those who have trusted in Christ for the forgiveness of their sins. Scripture warns us not to eat this "meal" with an unexamined heart, so before you participate, make sure you have confessed your sins before the Lord and made things right with your fellow man.
Join Us!
God seeks worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth! (John 4:23, 24). Join us this Sunday, and offer your heartfelt praise to God!
Before We Worship
| SUNDAY | 9:00 A.M. |
Before we can worship God, we must know something about Him. Bible Fellowships (elsewhere called Sunday School) provide just this sort of opportunity. We offer a number of Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) classes. Find out more
