Women's Ministry
The purpose of Women's Ministry is to encourage the women of our church and to equip them both biblically and in the use of their gifts.
"And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day drawing near."

Tablescapes Luncheon - Ministry Kick Off

Ladies! It's time to Save the Date! Put Saturday, September 11th., 10:30 am-1:00 pm, on your calendars now. You don't want to miss the Women's Ministry Kickoff Luncheon. It is a wonderful time to learn about all the opportunities the Women's Ministry is offering for the upcoming year. Bring a friend you have wanted to introduce to DBC. Fill a whole table (8) with friends you've wanted to spend more time with. It is an event not to be missed, and there is NO COST for the luncheon. The Main Sanctuary doors open at 10:30 am to give you time to view the beautiful and often outrageously decorated tables. A delicious, catered lunch, prepared by a world-class chef, will be served by our Men's Ministry team at 11:00 am. You will meet the Women's Ministry Members and have the opportunity to sign up for the programs that will be offered throughout the year. Roseanne Elling, Ph.D., and Lara Amis, Stylist will speak to you on "Inside and Out--What It's Really About" (a commentary about style for now and eternity). You can also sign up then to decorate a table! Don't miss this "Event."

Bible Study

We are so excited to announce that Sharon Crowder, Jamie Grant and Laura Martin will co-lead the women's bible study on Tuesday morning. Mary Yarbrough and Jill Dorman will co-lead the women's bible study on Wednesday night. Start dates and times are Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 9:45, Wednesday evening - Sept. 15 at 6:30
The study they have chosen is “Seeking Him, Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival”, by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Tim Grissom, with Life Action Ministries. We will get the books as soon as possible so they will be available for sale before Bible study starts on September 14 and 15.
Dining Divas

September 21st and 23rd we'll be Dining Divas again! Dining Divas has been described as "accelerated friendship making." It's an opportunity to dine with a small group of up to seven other women in a hostess' home, on either Tuesday or Thursday of the third week of every other month at 7:00 pm. There are opportunities to sign up for either of those days, for a simple evening meal prepared by the hostess. The groupings continually change over the months so that you have the opportunity to broaden the number of ladies you are acquainted with at DBC, and all this is within the comfortable setting of someone's home. At Dining Divas there's no agenda, no project, no requests to sign up on a committee- just friendly fellowship with real women like yourself. So please come and be blessed, and be a blessing to others as we get to know one another on a more intimate level.

Tea and Testimony

Tea and Testimony is a great time of bonding for the women of Dallas Bible Church. We'll have dinner in a hosts home from 7-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14th. Traditionally one or two of our women share their testimony, this helps bring us together in deeper relationship. Please plan to join us. For more information please contact Jill Mansfield.
