Watch Out for Yourself with Your Friends
Sermon Notes
1. Watch out for your own judgmentalism. Don't judge your brother (1, 2).
What goes around comes around.
2. Take out the log in your own eye first - not the speck in your brother's eye. Don't be a hypocrite (3-5).
Clean out your own logs first before you nit pick others to death. Your own problems are so much bigger than your brother's problems
3. Watch out for your own lack of discernment. Don't live an indiscriminate life (6).
Truth thrown around indiscriminately is like a boomerang - it will come back, hit you in the face, and tear you up.
Therefore -
• Live humbly with others - don't be your own measure of what is right.
• Live reflectively and purposefully with others.
• Live discriminately with others.
