Tyson & Sarah Guthrie

East Iowa Bible Camp is a non-denominational Christian camping facility and retreat center, situated in the rolling hills of Eastern Iowa. The camp is dedicated to serving the Church throughout Iowa by providing facilities that are available year round for church retreats, conferences, family gatherings or other events. As a servant to the Church, our first priority is adding to her numbers. We bring the Gospel to children of all ages through summer camps and winter retreats.

Both Tyson and Sarah grew up attending EIBC’s summer program, and met each other working there on the summer staff. They are both excited to be working in a place they have called home.

As director of the camp, Tyson is responsible to see that the camp meets these lofty goals. He builds relationships with churches throughout Eastern Iowa, hires and equips summer staffs ready to pass the Gospel on to the next generation, manages the summer program, and oversees all the day-to-day operations of the camp. With Sarah serving close by his side, Tyson hopes to expand the camp’s capacity to serve Christ’s Body.
