The Power of God in the Resurrection

The power of God in the resurrection verifies my faith in the following:

1.    Christ’s work on the cross forgives sin – only in Christ’s work on the cross is forgiveness of sin (1 Cor. 1.18, 23-24).

2.    Christ has victory over death – death is not the end. Eternal life is in Christ (1 Cor. 15.42-43).

3.    Christ transforms me into the image of Christ - I can grow to be like Him (Romans 8.29; 2 Cor. 4.7-11).

4.    There is purpose and victory in my hardships (2 Cor. 12.9).

5.    The best is still to come!
