We are VERY excited about VBS this year as we focus on the POWER of Jesus in our lives! Kids and adults will join together for worship, drama and amazing science! Parents and adults (no kids required!) are invited to attend a Bible study on the miracles of Jesus (led by our pastoral staff) while kids will enjoy the usually VBS games, crafts, Bible stories and fun!
Our lessons are:
Day 1: Jesus Heals the 10 Lepers - Luke 17. “Always be thankful.” Col 3:15
Day 2: Jesus gives Peter courage to walk on water – Matt 14. “I will not be afraid because you are close beside me.” Psalm 23:4
Day 3: Jesus gives sight to the Blind man - John 9. When God’s people are in need, always be ready to help them.” Romans 12:19
Day 4: Jesus dies and comes back to Life - Luke 23-24. “Since I live you also will love. Johns 14:17)
Day 5: The Holy Spirit comes at Pentecost – Acts 2. “Go into all the world and preach the good news to everyone. Matthew 28:19
There is no charge for VBS (but an optional donation of $3/person for the dinner). You’ll want to make sure your family attends this great VBS and invite your neighbors! If you’re praying for an opportunity to serve the Lord this summer, consider getting involved on the VBS Team as a Crew Leader. No teaching preparation required, just a willingness to attend a Saturday morning training and to lead 5 kids around the VBS activities, sharing with them about the POWER of Jesus in your life!
