Bruce and Catherine Thomas met and married through the ministry of Dallas Bible Church. Today they are serving in Romania with Livada Orphan Care, the ministry that they founded together in 2001. The goal of the ministry is to help abandoned and orphaned children find their place in this world through a holistic blend of Christian social work, humanitarian aid, and ministry. What started with a dream about overflowing orchards in Romania has blossomed into full time residential care for 45 children and teens and ministry to another 500 children and teens who live in state care in Romania. Bruce serves as the Founder and Executive Director. Catherine is a stay at home mom for Sam, Charlie, and Graham. They now have 57 full time Romanian staff and 9 western staff working alongside of them.
