Being a teenager is tough. REALLY tough.
There’s real struggles, real challenges, and real pain. Real dreams are met with real failures, and disappointments come more often than we’d like. And with the world literally at our fingertips, there’s a never-ending bombardment of messages telling you who you should be, how you should live your life, and what you must do to fit in and be accepted.
What does God have to say about all of this?
Welcome to the Dallas Bible Church Youth Ministry. Our purpose here at DBCYM is to to make disciples of Jesus Christ from todays teenagers. We believe that God deeply loves teenagers right where they are, no matter how far away they feel, and that He desires a personal relationship with them. We believe that His Word is truly living and active, and that it speaks relevant and life-changing truth that teenagers desperately need to hear. We believe that Jesus Christ paid the penalty of their sin, and that in doing so He offers them the most abundant and fulfilling life anyone could ever imagine. And because the gospel has changed our own lives, we believe in pouring into the lives of teenagers through purposeful, intentional and relational youth ministry.
Whether it’s on Sunday morning as we gather to worship and dig deep into God’s Word, or on Wednesday nights as we meet in small groups to apply God’s Word to our lives and build authentic relationships, or even any of our events and retreats, I’d like to personally invite you to come jump into DBCYM and see what God wants to do in your life. Come learn what God is saying to you through His Word. Come grow in your faith with others. Or even if you aren’t a disciple of Jesus, feel free to come find the abundant life that Christ readily has for you. Everyone’s welcome here.
