Three C’s to a changed heart:

   1. CONTRITION:

        “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart…” v. 17

   2. CONFESSION:

        “For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned…” v. 3,4

            a. A RIGHT estimate of sin
            b. A right ATTITUDE to sin
            c. A right CONDUCT with regard to sin

   3. CLEANSING:

       “Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean…” v. 7
       “Hide your face from my sins and blot our all my iniquity…” v. 9
       “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me” v.10
