Kids LIFE: Grades Kindergarten–6th Grade

Kids LIFE is where kids discover what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ through both large and small groups. Sunday morning ministry begins at
9:00 a.m. with Kids Bible Fellowship (KBF) small groups. While parents participate
in adult Bible study (ABFs), kids are taught Biblical principles through Bible stories, games, crafts, small-group discussions and more. Small groups are divided by age and led by trained (and screened) adult shepherds that equip kids to dig into God’s Word and apply it to their every day lives.

SUNDAYS | 10:30 A.M.

Parents pick kids up at 10:00 a.m. to attend Worship Service together as a family from 10:15–10:30. During the Worship Service, kids are dismissed to Kids LIFE large group time (formerly Kid Connection) in the Fireside Room. This is a dynamic Bible-learning environment that integrates sound Biblical teaching through live drama and creative teaching in a relational setting. Our focus passage is Luke 2:52: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” Each month our Bible lessons focus around a different virtue and encourage kids to learn…

      1. I can trust God no matter what.
      2. I need to make the wise choice.
      3. I need to treat others the way I want to be treated.

Kids then transition back into small groups with adult leaders for deeper study and application of the day’s Bible lesson. Kids will discover how the lesson and virtue applies to their lives. They discuss real-life experiences, interact with a close-knit group of peers and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles. You can pick your child up after the Worship Service (around 11:30 a.m.) from the Fireside Room or from their small group class location as directed.

Check In/Check-Out

Our goal is to provide a caring, safe and organized church home for children and their parents. You can pre-register to attend any DBC Children’s Ministry class here (www.kidcheck). Click on Parents and follow the link to create a free online account for your kids that links securely and exclusively to Dallas Bible Church. This is where you provide us with information that is vital to his/her care (such as allergies, behavior issues and guardians approved to pick up your children.) This takes only a few minutes and can be done at home or at the Kids' Check-In Kiosk in the foyer. It will help you and your kids to have a smooth transition into a DBC Preschool or kids' ministry class.
