Jonathan & Rachel Morgan

Rachel is translating the Bible for the Rangi people group (in North-Central Tanzania) so they can have the Bible in their heart-language. Translation work has begun in this language but only the books of Jonah, Mark and Genesis have been completed so there is still much work to do. Rachel works alongside two Rangi Bible translators. There are 350,000 speakers of the language, of whom 93% are Muslims. Having the Bible in their own language will have a huge positive impact on this people group.

Jonathan is the Director of Finance & Administration for Uganda and Tanzania. This role involves supporting the work of Bible Translation by overseeing the accounting operations in two countries as well as providing training to the finance staff in the organization. He has also travelled to different places in Africa to train and support finance staff.
