Set the Table - making space for our neighbors

At Dallas Bible Church, "loving all" is in our DNA. That's why every year, in preparation for the Christmas season, we prioritize giving our neighbor a seat at the family table. Here are some ways your family can serve your neighbor through the month of November:

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes are here! Pick up yours in the lobby and return it to Dallas Bible Church by November 23. Support this global ministry by helping us reach our church's goal of delivering 120 boxes of Christmas cheer to families in need around the world. Avoiding crowds? Sponsor and pack a digital shoe box by visiting our digital portal here.

Kings' Tree

Now is the time to sponsor neighboring families in need over the Christmas season. Please stop by the Kings' tree (located in the front lobby), grab an ornament, and follow the directions on the accompanying card to assist a family in our neighborhood with Christmas gifts during the holiday season. Not headed to the church building? Email [email protected] for information on how to sponsor a family remotely. Sponsorships range from $25 to $50.

Food Drive

Amid a global pandemic, a declining economy, and rising housing costs, many North Texas families are facing the hard choice of prioritizing their rent or their pantry. Christmas time only makes this struggle more difficult. This is why Dallas Bible is emphasizing food pantry donations throughout the month of November. Please visit dallasbible.org/foodpantry for information on what items are accepted and where to take them.

Financial donations are also greatly appreciated! To give financially, please visit dallasbible.org/give (donate to our "general" fund and in the notes section write, "food pantry").

Precious Stones

The Precious Stones ministry is dedicated to the inclusion of those who may not be able to visit our church building during the Christmas season. At Dallas Bible, we believe the church of Jesus Christ exists far beyond the brick and mortar walls of our campus. As such, we want all who call DBC "home" to know they are loved and missed when they can't join us. If you would like to volunteer to help deliver "Christmas cheer" to our home-bound worshipers, please email [email protected].
