How not to be a Hypocrite

Beware of being noticed by others (and by yourself) and not being noticed by God (1).
1. When you give, don't be a hypocrite (2-4)!
• Don't give to be noticed
• Give in secret without calculation
2. When you pray, don't be a hypocrite (5-15)!
• Don't pray to be seen but pray in secret
• Don't pray with meaningless words that sound great
• Pray to the point daily - about the core things of life
- Daily worship of a loving Father
- Daily passions for His kingdom
- Daily desires for His will in your life
- Daily dependence for physical needs
- Daily awareness of my spiritual neediness
- Daily dependence for spiritual power in temptation
- Daily confidence and praise for victory
3. When you fast, don't be a hypocrite (16-18)!
• Don't fast to be noticed
• Fast to be noticed by your Father
