Kid Connection
During the Worship Service, children aged Kindergarten through 6th grade attend Kid Connection. Kid Connection is a dynamic Bible learning environment for kids. The program integrates live Bible Drama, small group activities and crafts in a warm, relational setting.
We use a Bible based curriculum written by 252basics. You can preview our curriculum by going here. The goal of our teaching is to encourage kids to grow in
-
Faith and trust in God;
- Wisdom by applying God’s Word to make wise choices;
- Relationship to each other by learning how to treat others.
Our Kid Connection staff serves on a monthly rotational basis.
Teachers are screened with
a national background check and application. Small group activities provide the setting for Godly adult leaders to build
relationships with kids.

Check In / Check- Out
Children are dismissed for Kid Connection from the adult Worship Service around 10:30 a.m. You can pick your child up after the Worship Service (around 11:30 a.m.) from the Fireside Room or from their "Small Group" class location as directed.
Kid Connection Structure
POWER UP
(Large Group, 20-25 minutes—Fireside Room)
Power Up is designed to engage children in worship within a large group setting. Music, prayer, and an innovative approach to the Bible story are always a part of this interactive time. |
CATCH ON
(Small Groups, 25-30 minutes—Small Group Rooms) Catch On is designed to help kids understand how the day's topic applies to them. They will discuss real-life experiences, interact with a close-knit group of peers, and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles.
