Kid's Bible Fellowship (KBFs)

Kid Bible Fellowships (KBFs) are our version of Sunday School. While parents participate in adult Bible study (ABFs), children (ages Kindergarten through 6th grade) are taught Biblical principles through Bible stories, games, crafts, small-group discussions and more—whatever is appropriate for their "age and stage." We use David C Cook Curriculum in our KBF classes.

Our Bible teaching and relational environment is designed to draw kids into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, based on sound Biblical instruction and godly role models. The goal of our KBF is to deepen each child's personal relationship to God by teaching them that they are valuable because He created them. They will learn to make wise choices in words and actions, and that we are all sinners who can turn to Christ for forgiveness. We encourage our children to love God with all their hearts, and to express that love for God in song, prayer, worship, and obedient actions.

KBF teachers are all pre-screened (background checks are required annually), trained, and experienced in teaching the Bible to children. They serve as godly role models to our kids. The goal of our teaching staff is to communicate God's Word effectively, and build relationships with kids as representatives of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Check In

If you would like your child to participate in KBF, bring him or her to the Children's Help Desk at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. Complete a Visitor Registration Card, providing the name and age of your child, and any information that is vital to his/her care (such as allergies, behavioral issues, etc.). The volunteer will help direct you to the right class for your child. If your child is a regular attendee of KBF, simply sign in.

For your child's protection, we now require children and parents to wear matching identity wrist bands. These will be provided in the child's classroom and assure that your child will leave the room with you and no one else.

Pick Up

If your children are age Kindergarten to 6th Grade, we ask that you pick up them up at 10:00 a.m. and take them with you to the worship service. They will be dismissed for Kid Connection during the worship service. You can pick them up after the service (around 11:30 a.m.) from the Fireside Room or from their Kid Connection "Small Group" class location as directed.
