Bruce & Catherine Thomas

Bruce and Catherine Thomas met and married through the ministry of Dallas Bible Church. Today they are serving with Livada Orphan Care, the ministry that they founded together in 2001. The goal of the ministry is to help abandoned and orphaned children in Romania to find their place in this world through a holistic blend of Christian social work, humanitarian aid and ministry. What started with a dream about overflowing orchards in Romania has blossomed into full time residential care for 55 children and teens so far, weekly orphan outreach to another 400 children and teens who live in state orphanages and baby hospitals, and prevention of abandonment ministries in Gypsy villages to vulnerable kids and poor families. Bruce serves as the Founder and Executive Director. Catherine is a stay at home mom for Sam, Charlie, Graham, and Jack. They now have over 30 full-time Romanian staff and 3 western staff working alongside of them.
